Booking Process
- Email the membership director to obtain a letter of recommendation confirming that you are a financial member of the club in good standing. This will usually be in the form a return email that you can forward onto the NSW booking secretary as confirmation of your eligibility of booking rights.
- Contact the NSW booking secretary (get information from the NSW website regarding mailing and email addresses) to determine bed availability
- Book the accommodation as per the NSW club's standard procedures and pay using the processes stipulated by their club
If any further information on your membership status is required, please ask the NSW club officers to contact membership@csirski.asn.au for assistance from our end in the process If a NSW member wishes to come and stay at our lodges, the same booking process applies, namely:
- The NSW member must obtain a letter of recommendation confirming that they are a financial member of the club in good standing. An email from the member of the NSW Club's committee is usually the simplest way to achieve this requirement
- The NSW member contacts our booking secretaries directly to determine bed availability. Note - the only requirement for a booking is that there is already a member staying at the lodge for the duration of the NSW members stay.
- The booking secretary books the accommodation using guest rates for adults and child/junior rates for younger guests.
If any further information or assistance on the process is required, the booking secretary can help, or failing that the Membership Director can assist.
This is a great benefit to the members of both clubs, so if you meet a NSW member staying at the lodges when you go up to stay, make sure you make them feel welcome. Also, any feedback from a stay at the NSW club would be greatly received as the Management Committee is interested in how we can maintain and improve this benefit to our members.
